Maple Creek Riding Academy has been around since the early 1800's starting off as a small hobby farm owned by Mr. Thomas Creeks. Through the early 1800's and into the 1900's many renovations and land was bought making the small hobby farm larger and more equipped. Not until 1970 was the small hobby farm now considered and eligible to become a center for equine riding. In 1972, it was official, the property that once was purchased back in the early 1800's by Thomas Creeks that sat on a mer twenty acres of land, had now grown to almost ten fold, one hundred and fifty acres of land and now an academy. They gave the name Maple Creek Riding Academy, in memory of the man that settled, Thomas Creeks and for the numerous maple trees they found on the property and lining the drive up to the facility.
In 1975 Mary-Ann Collins, purchased the Academy that was for sale and made numerous of improvements to make it into a five star academy for riders of all ages and disciplines. Mary-Ann was a well known trainer and produced many equestrian horse riders that went on after to colleges and then to ride in the Olympics. To this day many recall the success and the friendly services that Maple Creek Riding Academy (MCRA) offered to them when they came.
Though as years passed by, Mary-Ann became terminally ill and slowly had to do away with the Academy. Many tried to help her, but being as stubborn as she was, she refused any help. If the Academy was going to close it was going to close. So the Academy had shut down in 1991, with the last of the boarders leaving. As the years kept on, the Academy slowly fell down due to not being up-kept. In 2000 Mary-Ann Collins passed away, from her long battle with Macular degeneration as well as cancer. In 2002, a granddaughter Ashley Collins learned about her inheritance of the Academy.
After Ashley Collins found out that she had inherited the Academy, Ashley herself moved to the property. She had meet with the the town mayor, Mr. Pallin and they began to go over the clause and agreement. Ashley's grandmother had set up for Ashley, a series of completions that needed to be completed before she was considered full owner. A series of clauses that stated if she or the Academy riding team came within the first or third placing in the shows, each time they did, they would receive added funding to allow the facility to be up kept.
Ashley had agreed to find herself a riding team and if she could not, she would herself compete. The first show went find and Ashley was able to place herself third out of ten. As the clause stated she was given an amount of money to upkeep a given area of the Academy. Ashley took it and updated both the stable blocks. On her second show, Ashley places first out of five, winning herself more added income to update the facility. Again she used some of the money to add onto the barns and upkeep the horse area. With the remained of the money, Ashley had begun to due fence repair.
The journey of a lifetimes begins..
Finally, in 2009, Ashley Collins was able to re-open the Academy and sent out an ad in the newspaper and had it posted in the Internet as well. The well known Maple Creek Riding Academy (MCRA) was again open to those interested in boarding their horses. Seeking riders for team competition, boarding, and job opportunities. If interested they where to contact Ashley Collins by phone.
Soon applicants from all around the globe and come to see the well known Academy and some even came right away with horses, seeking board and opportunity to grown in the horse business. As a team was beginning to form and go off to competition and win, horses soon began to come down ill or strange events started to unfold. No matter how hard one person tried, they could never trace what was happening.
Slowly Ashley began to catch on. Horses turned up missing in early morning and evening time, when Jesse Blacklock, was working as a stable-hand. Still everything Ashley spoke to Jesse, he knew nothing or saw nothing suspicious. Yet he would not say anything anyways, for he was in with his father, James Blacklock, a reality dealer, who had been after the property for twenty years now, wanting to get it so he could demolish the buildings and put up a sleek high class hotel and vacation spot.
As more and more sightings begin to happen, Ashley has called upon the whole team of Maple Creek to band together to try to put a stop to the crazy tactics and caught whoever is responsible. What Ashley does not know, is it is not only Mr. Blacklock, his son and his daughter she is dealing with but a whole group, that came together that wanted to see one prime goal successful. The closing of Maple Creek Riding Academy (MCRA) forever.
Will you help solve and catch who is behind the madness or will you be lured in to be part of the group that is creating the madness.
