Medical Conditions/Problems:: Slight asthma from smoking, takes high blood pressure medication & shortness of breathe if overworking his body.

Family:: His mother is still alive but she is in her middle seventies and is suffering from MS and Alzheimer's Disease. His father died at an early age from a mild heart attack. Sister and brother he has no contact with, he acts as if they do not exist, since they left when both parents where ill and left James to help.

Appearance:: James Blacklock for being a man in his middle fifties looks younger than that and to some, he looks like he could be older then fifty five. He has somewhat of a stem look about him as well as class. He is not afraid to show it. He stands at six foot six inches and is average weight for a man his height and age. His hair is brown and cut short and he almost all the time wears a hat. He has a mustache and goatee colored brown. His face is beginning to wrinkle and has a leathery look because of being exposed to the bitter cold and heavy smoking.

Mr. Blacklock always wears either blue or black colored blue jeans with either brown or black cowboy boots. His belt is either black or brown with a belt buckle he won from years back. A cowboy hat is always a must. His shirts are always a colored light long sleeve shirt with a black or brown jean jacket over. Attached to a lead is his bottle he keeps with him. In a pocket he also carries his cigars and lighter. If you catch him in a t-shirt, be shocked.

Personality:: James plays both side of the dice. To his close family and friends he is a kind and caring gentlemen. Willing and ready to help anyone out if they need help. Known to many he is a multi millionaire and has donated to many local businesses, helped with refurnishing and building of new stores in the area. In a group he has been known as a person who always has a smile on his face, laughter and a joker.

Yet if you are not on that side you see the cruel, malice side of him. For those that step in his way of getting what he wants, he will stop at nothing to destroy it or destroy you. No matter what it is. He is very sneaky about it and often leaves no trace or evidence behind. Mr. Blacklock wants to get what he wants and hates when people stand in his way.

History:: Ever since a young age James can remember growing up in Mudd Creek, and like those his age, swore that once he turned the age of eighteen and was allowed to leave the house, he was gone. He would get out of this small little hell hole he called a home and settle down in the cities and make a name for himself. Yet when graduation came, James did not leave with his friends, he stayed behind in the small town. Something about the town had grown on him. He soon began to make big dreams, but never would he have thought those dreams would come true in years to come.

James swore he would take down Maple Creek and make a hotel suite where the buildings once stood. The only thing that was and is today stopping him was Ashley's grandmother Mary Ann Collins, but she is out of the picture since she passed away. Now Ashley is in his way. He will get Maple Creek and make it his own before he dies.
